I hit a cat today; it was awful. Not only did a hit a cat, which is bad enough, but it was someone’s pet. What can you say. There is nothing I can do or say to make that better. I wasn’t speeding, talking on the phone, or distracted with the kids. It just darted out right in front of me. I’m just sick to my stomach over it.
I called W right away and he didn’t answer his phone. I called him back again and later again. Still no answer. When I finally got a hold of him, he hadn’t answered his phone because he was attacked by a dog at one of his customer’s house. He (and the dog) are ok, but his leg is sore and his pants ripped. I believe he was a bit shaken as well.
Wow! What a start to the day.
