I went to the grocery store yesterday, and here is our menu for the week:
- Burritos–black beans, rice, tomatoes, cheese, lettuce, and brown rice tortillas
- Rosemary chicken with white beans and carrots (crockpot)
- Beef and broccoli stir fry with pad thai noodles
- Turkey burgers with french fries
- Chili with grilled cheese sandwiches
- Ham with baked sweet potatoes
So, do you prepare these from scratch every evening, or do some prep work on the weekend? These all seem like really good menus, and not overly complicated! Do you do things in bulk at all (like buy extra turkey and make enough burgers for two sets of meals?)
Certainly, most of the items on the menus could have some prep work done on the weekends or be made in batches. For the most part though, I don’t do this.
